bibbidy bobbidy boo.

so i went to disneyland like two weeks ago with my sister wendy and her two kids erik and ally (ages 14 and 11). we drove there, spent four days at disneyland, one at the beach, and then drove back. and while i was expecting 6 days of "are we there yet?" "we're hungry!" "we're bored!" "play with me!" "i wanna do THIS!" "buy me THAT!", the children were actually quite well-behaved and we all had a ridiculously good time. the weekend did a pretty good job of convincing me that maybe, just maybe, not all kids between the ages of 10 and 18 are little monsters. i may even consider keeping mine once they get past the cute baby stage. maybe.

so here are some pictures of the disneypalooza.wendy and i became honorary citizens of disneyland. it's very prestigious, and not a lot of people get the privilege. what does it mean? absolutely nothing. but you get a cool pin and people (mostly 10 year olds) are jealous of you. how much more could you really ask for?we buried erik in the sand. but unfortunately he wouldn't lay still long enough for us to build him a nice set of sand boobs. he's in that "i'm too cool for sand boobs" 14 year old stage. shame.
