california love

so this weekend we packed up grace's minivan (we really packed it- 7 seats and 7 bums to fill those seats) and headed over to beautiful san diego, california. our friend from france, angélique was getting baptized so we wanted to go support her (and really we would've used any excuse to go to california, this is just an extra righteous one). it was a long drive but toooootally worth it. the beach was gorgeous and i fell in love with california. if you know anyone who would like to buy me a summer house there, feel free to pass my number along.




our friend gabriel's mom and sister were here from france. let me just tell you that europeans have excellent genes. i don't know how old gab's mom is, but she pretty much looks better in a swimsuit than i do. and then his 16 year old sister looks like she's a 24 year old model. both very fun to accompany to the beach. and even though you want to hate them, they're just too nice and beautiful so you end up loving them instead. dangit.
